Every week we let someone who we find inspiring take over our official Spotify playlist.
This week: Michel Tournéus
Michel was born in Botkyrka, Stockholm, Sweden in 1986. He fell in love with athletcis and more specifically the long jump at an early age and has been working relentlessly on becoming the best ever since. In 2005, at 19 years old, he made a name for himself by jumping just 1 cm short of the Swedish junior record. His hard work and dedication have made him one of the world’s best long jumpers – gold in the European Indoor Championships in Prague 2015, bronze in the World Indoor Championships in Sopot 2014 as well as holding the Swedish national record just to name a few of his many achievements.
“I got 10 training sessions per week. When I’m putting in work I like to blast trap and gangster rap to get pumped up. This playlist is more of my riding-my-car-feeling-good type of list. Abit more melo than my work out music but still very much me.”
