NEW BLACK SELECTION BY ALEX

Four Reasons To Vote In The Swedish Election This Year:

1. Your Vote REALLY Matters: A lot of people think that their vote does not matter in the long run, but it really does! Tell your friends to go and vote, we really have the chance to affect the result of this election. The ones who support SD know the worth of voting. Thats why they are gaining votes. We need to do the same and stop them. Your Vote Really Matters!!

2. We Can’t Let The Racists Win: We are already experiencing SD’s influence. They want to stop immigration, period. Our borders are closing, police are looking for people who look like they have no Swedish papers and send them to a country that they had to run from. People who leave their country do not want to leave in the first place, they leave because they have to. Sverigedemokraterna are racists, we can not let them win!

3. Racism Is Not The Answer: We can not let racism destroy this beautiful country. We need to stick together and stand up for eachother. For the LGBTI community, for the immigrants, for minotiries and everyone who needs our support. We need more love and not SD. SD = Hate.

4. SD = Racists: SD is a racist party and we can’t tolerate racism! They try to make people feel unsafe with their racist propaganda but they are the ones making Sweden unsafe. They are normalizing racism, and that is extremely dangerous. We can’t go back to having the same envoirement as Nazi Germany. People do not realize that this is what will happen if they keep on gaining votes. MAKE SURE TO VOTE! TELL YOUR FRIENDS TO VOTE! USE YOUR PLATFORM TO SPREAD THE MESSAGE.

We can not let them win!

Bars In Stockholm:

1. Paradiso: Paradiso is my favourite bar! Stockholm’s Miami, as they like to call it, serve the best cocktails, got a great menu that they change every now and then and book the best DJs – so the music is always on point. If ever in Stockholm, Paradiso is a must!
2. Nada Bar: Super cozy bar located at Åsögatan, people call Nada Bar a hidden gem and it truly is. It’s a simple and relaxed atmosphere at Nada Bar, cheap prices and great music at all times. If you want a laid back bar experience Nada Bar is for you!
3. Little TONG: Cheap beer, hi-balls and noodles until 3AM several days a week. It doesn’t get much better than that!
4. Bar Hommage: One of the best cocktail bars in town is located on Södermalm in a former fire station. The staff at Bar Hommage got the knowledge when it comes to great cocktails. The people behind Bar Hommage also owns the French restaurant Delikatessen Bistro Bar just next door.

Best Places For Ice Cream In Stockholm:

1. Snö: Located next to Vasaparken in Vasastan, Snö serves insanely good ice cream. They combine unexpected flavours that people probably wouldn’t think of mixing, and the outcome is amazing. My number one spot for ice cream in Stockholm!
2. King Scoopa: A unique little spot. Sem, the owner, makes the ice cream himself and his signature ice cream doughnut has people queuing along Hornsgatan. Make sure to go there if you visit Södermalm.
3. Gelateria Italiana: If you’re into Italian gelato, this is the spot for you. You’ll find all the typical Italian flavours – plus the special ‘flavour of the week.’ All home made!
4. Stockholms Glasshus: Very popular spot at St. Eriksplan. Huge selection and outdoor seating. Other than the ”regular” ice cream flavours they also have a few rather unexpected flavours. They also serve great cakes!

Favourite restaurants in Tokyo:

1. Ichiran: Ichiran is a great spot for ramen lovers. Just eating there is an experience in it’s own. You sit in a booth where the food is served through a small window. There’s no real interaction with the staff, which is quite common in Japan. If ever in Tokyo, go there for good ramen and a special experience!
2. Harajuku Gyouzarou: The best dumplings you’ll find! The menu is small, which I personally think is a good sign for any restaurant. The fried and steamed dumplings are really good together with their sake and cucumber salad.
3. Rose Bakery: On top of Dover Street Market in Ginza there’s a great café called Rose Bakery. They serve fresh salads, nice sandwiches and delicious cakes. The place is popular with locals and not as tourist crowded as you might expect. After a nice meal at Rose Bakery it’s great to browse through Dover Street Market.
4. Han no Daidokoro: Japan is known for their Kobe beef – a special kind of meat known for its flavor, tenderness, and fatty, well-marbled texture. It simply melts in your mouth! At Han No Daidokoro in Shubiya they serve this delicious beef where you grill it by yourself at your table.

Best Burgers In Stockholm:

1. Franky’s: In my opinion Franky’s is the best burger spot in Stockholm. Their chef is super passionate about burgers and it shows, they serve the perfect burger along with great fries. Unfortunualy they don’t serve any vegetarian alternatives yet but apart from that: best spot in the city!
2. Barrels Burgers And Beers: Barrells is a great burger joint in Gamla Stan (The Old Town) in Stockholm. Juicy burgers made from top quality produce. Try their side of haricots verts instead of French fries. They offer vegan alternatives too!
3. Bun Meat Bun: With their three restaurants in Stockholm (Farsta, Södermalm and Bromma) Bun Meat Bun is growing more popular by the day. Serving both beef burgers and vegetarian patties they’re considered one of the city’s best burger stops.
4. Flippin’ Burgers: Probably Stockholm’s most popular burger place. There’s always a queue but it’s well worth the wait. Good simple burgers, great fries as well as delicious Ben N Jerry’s milkshakes.

Favourite Pieces From Our Spring & Summer Collections

2. Pool Tee: This is the perfect summer t-shirt. It’s soft and comfortable in a light summer color. Plus, who doesn’t love pools? Get it when we release it next week!
3. Signature Crew + Signature Shorts Terracotta: This is the set of the summer. The clean signature logo embroidered on the pretty terracotta coloured set. Don’t sleep on this. Out next week!
4. Sandland Hood: I love all camo patterns, this Sandland camo is one of my favourites though. The beige color palette makes the piece a bit more low-key and that’s what I like about it, you can wear it with almost any color.

Favourite places to go swimming In Stockholm:

1. The Blue Lagoon: 30 minutes outside the city centre you’ll find the blue lagoon on Ekerö. It is one of the most beautiful lakes in Stockholm. With its turquoise water and fine-grained sand this place stands out from the other lakes around the city. This spot has become popular over the years and you can enjoy ice cream and soft drinks from the trailer café. Definitely worth a visit!
2. Tantobadet: The go-to spot in Stockholm. A lot of people go here to cool down in ”Mälaren” (the lake running through Stockholm). You can jump from the diving towers, shower after bathing, climb on climbing walls, play volleyball or even paint graffiti on the park’s legal wall. There are a lot of great restaurants close by in Hornstull so you can easily spend the whole day in Tanto.
3. Lilla Essingen: Lilla Essingen is an island in central Stockholm surrounded by Mälaren, so you can basically go bathing from anywhere around the island’s many docks. Popular place for sunbathing or picnics in the park Luxparken. Also, the island got a lot of restaurants with nice outdoor seating.
4. Saltsjöbaden Outdoor Bath: Located in the archipelago of Stockholm, 30 minutes from the city, Saltsjöbaden Outdoor Bath offers a sandy beach, sun terraces and sauna. They take an entrance fee here but you’ll love the fine-grained sand plus swimming in the sea beats a lake any day of the week!

Favourite parks in Stockholm:

1. Ivar Los Park: Located on Mariaberget on Södermalm this park has a stunning view over Stockholm City. It’s a calmer and smaller alternative to most parks that people go to here in Stockholm. Ivar Los Park got great playgrounds for kids so this is a perfect park for families.
2. Vanadislunden: This big park in Vasastaden is a great park for walks and picnics, other than that there’s two big swimming pools in the middle of the park. Great thing about this park is that it’s right in the city, next to Sveavägen, but when you’re in the park you’ll still get that feeling of being outside of the city.
3. Djurgården: This island, close to Stockholm’s central parts, is loved by both tourists and local people. Other than the beautiful walks along the water the island is popular for all the museums as well as the amusement park ”Gröna Lund” that’s also located on Djurgården.
4. Rålambshovsparken: ”Rålis”, as Stockholmer’s call it, is a popular park on Kungsholmen where a lot of people go during spring and summer to hang out. The park holds one of Stockholm’s greater skate parks and you can also play soccer and beach volley ball, swim in Mälaren or have something to eat at the park’s restaurant.
